Do you want to get good grades in your exams? if yes, then follow these few simple tips that are going to help you:
- Attend all your classes:
I
regard this as one of the most important step
to get good grades. Attend ALL your classes, pay close attention to the lecture
and take notes. Don’t be distracted such as talking to your friends or playing
games on your mobile phone. If you think that you won’t be able to stop
yourself from talking to you friends, then try to sit away from them or at the
front of the class.
- Do all your homework:
Do
all your homework include your assignments, projects, presentations, etc. This increase your
chance to get good grades. If you are having
problems with your homework ask your parent, sibling or a teacher, etc. You can also use the internet. For example, to get good grades on an assignments
research the topic using the internet, as this will helps you to find new information.
- Study Extra:
Studying one day
before an exam is not going to get you
good scores. You have to be persistent. Study
every day with full concentration. Another
drawback of studying a day before exams is that if you are having a problem with a
topic you won't be able to ask your
professor about the query. Study everyday
and if you come across something that you don’t understand ask you teacher. For good study tips read How to study better in 5 simple steps!
- Enough sleep/nutrition:
DO NOT
wake up the whole night before your exam to study;
if you do so you won't be able to focus during the test. Sleep for at least
6 to 8 hours. Don’t forget to have your breakfast in the morning and drink
plenty of water.
- Make a schedule:
Don’t waste your precious time.Mention all the due dates of your assignments, quizzes, and projects so that you can perform well. Keeping track of these things
will keep you organized for good grades, as every successful person has a schedule
that they follow.
- Read the question paper carefully:
Before you start attempting your paper carefully read it and if
you have any queries ask your professor. Another important tip is, never leave a question
blank. Especially if it’s an MCQ, there is a chance that you might get it
right.
